- The categories are divided by maximum age in reference to the date of birth at the time of the audition. Soloists of all musical instruments can compete.
- For the Junior and A categories, a scholarship will be awarded to the First classified among all instruments, the Second and Third classified will be awarded a diploma and medal, the Fourth classified will receive a certificate of merit.
- For the B, C, D, E categories, scholarships and diplomas will be awarded to the first three classified in each category, the Fourth classified will receive a certificate of merit.
- All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
- The organization will provide the following instruments to the competitors: a grand piano for the auditions, two upright pianos for the rehearsals and a 47-string concert harp.
SPECIAL PRIZES
- The Luigi Zanuccoli Prize – Will be awarded to a pianist in any age category of section I for the best performance of a solo piano piece by Luigi Zanuccoli. The piece can be downloaded online under the “Luigi Zanuccoli obligatory piece” page. The winner will receive a scholarship of €200. Download the score: Nocturne Zanuccoli Spartito
- Concerts Prizes for the categories D and E
- Europa Spirit of Youth Orchestra the competitors of the Soloists section (strings and winds) who have particularly distinguished themselves in the competition may be selected to collaborate with the Europa Spirit of Youth Orchestra.
